Why aren’t the main/forums sites set up with signed SSL certs as their default? The main site won’t even load over SSL. That just blows my mind.
Because there are only a couple of people that help keep this site alive and SSL certs haven’t been high priority.
What can I do to help? My helping is dependent on having SSL, though.
It’s not hard to get and set up a cert.
Second, here are the docs, which makes it easy: https://letsencrypt.org/docs/
Your hosting/cloud provider probably offers one-button install and setup of Let’s Encrypt certs.
