Some thumbnails incorrect and do not match originals
As an example see game: 20734
007 The world is not enough:
As built from the XML response:
http://thegamesdb.net/banners/boxart/original/front/20734-1.png <— correct original
http://thegamesdb.net/banners/boxart/thumb/original/front/20734-1.png <— incorrect thumb (is actually thumb for n64 version!!)
The site still shows the correct thumbnail though
Same thing happens for Darkman on gameboy. Original image is correct, thumb is that of the NES game
After some investigation, it would appear that thumbnails are created on a call to getGame() if they do not yet exist, but there is no corresponding function that deletes thumbnails when the box art is replaced.
Would it be possible to do a full regeneration of thumbnails?
Bump is there an easy fix? This could lower server usage significantly since the only fix for clients is to grab the full resolution image.
I’m assuming this will be somehow addressed in the new API? Seems like a pretty serious bug to ignore.
