Would it be possible to have something for MSX like there is for PC where you can specify the specs?
My suggestion would be:
MSX System: unknown (default), SVI-318/328, MSX1, MSX2, MSX2+, MSX TurboR
Minimum RAM: unknown (default), 8KB, 16KB, 32KB, 64KB, 128GB, 256KB, 512KB, 1MB, 2MB, 4MB
Minimum VRAM: unknown (default), 16KB, 32KB, 64KB, 128KB
Audio Expansion: None (default), SCC, SCC+. FM-PAC, MSX-MUSIC, MSX-AUDIO, Moonsound
DOS Expansion: None (default), MSX-DOS, MSX-DOS2
Language Expansion: None (default), Kanji, Arabic
Storage Expansions: None (default), DiskROM, HDD
Misc: None (default), PAC
The problem is that sometimes multiple options in a category may be valid, or that some expansions may be optional while others may be mandatory.
And this is not limited to expansions either, some games behave different for instance on an MSX2 or MSX2+. The Konami game Space Manbow works on MSX2, but when played on a MSX2+ plays much smoother as it uses the hardware scrolling feature when played on the 2+.
