As far as I can tell, you can replace images by choosing "edit" -> "upload images" and uploading new images for the specified category.

IMO, a fuzzy search (one implementation of which is similar to what you said, searching each word) is a common approach, or rather the only approach thatb works. Am I the only one that thinks the update API is overcomplicated? It could be a simple bit mask representing major categories for a game (i.e, art changed, metadata changed, game deleted, etc...) or something like that. Then you wouldn't even have to worry about paging since you won't have large fiel...
