Please provide a basic overview of your proposed use of the API.
Any request lacking this information will be denied pending an appropriate response.
Please do not request keys as end users of another project, as those projects should request and properly implement their own keys. Key requests of this nature will be removed in the interest of more efficiently handling project requests. Assistance may be available upon contact for projects experiencing issues utilizing the current API.

API Key Request
I'm building a game collection database application and am interested in accessing TheGamesDB's API. I am building this app for my own use, but I plan to share it online when it is ready. My planned uses for the API would be to spruce up detail pages for individual game entries with logos/boxart/etc. That's about it, really, as the app is for tracking/sharing my collection and not displaying general game information. You've been granted an API key which you can access through this page.
if you ever go public with your project, please post in this thread notifying us of that.
just so, we are in the process of adding user collection to the site, which might be aligned with what you're trying to do,
though no API endpoint to retrieving the list exist at this time, but it sounds like a nature progress to the current updates (though needless to say that will request any user to signup to the site to use such feature)
please check the Announcement forum on regular bases to ensure compliance with any changes or updates.
