API key request

Hi!
I'd like to request an API key in order to gather some game descriptions to use on my own private collection.

Hi!
We require a bit more information to issue project keys.
If you're going to use AttractMode, Spectabis, Sselph, Skyscraper, or EmulationStation, no key is required and will - at best - not work due to obsoleted endpoints.
Otherwise, please let us know how exactly you plan to use the API, as private servers should work perfectly fine with the latest version of any of the above listed projects.

Hi,
I want to keep track of my games I bought on different platforms (steam, humble, gog) to prevent double purchases (just a private database).

We understand that you want to use it to collect info about games you own, we need to know how you plan on doing so?
More so, are you going to use an existing 3rd party solution?
