API Key Request

Post by FLiTTeR »

Hi! I'm building a mini game that shows games by their release date.
I will store all names and dates in a local database so I will access to the api only a few times.
Thanks!

Hello!

You've been granted an API key which you can access through this page.

Please check the Announcements forum on a regular basis to ensure compliance with any changes or updates.

Documentation is available on Swagger here.

Thank you for your interest!

We're curious to see how new projects use TGDB API.
If you have a new public project, please provide a link to it so we can highlight cool new applications! 8-)

Hi there,

the public key has 1000 request limit per month per ip (how many you have is returned in every API call), while the private one is a one off 6000 requests which should only be used by those running their own mirror.
