Editing thegamesdb information

I am testing use of the scraper in attractmode front end, using steam. In regards to thegamesdb, I have a few questions. Forgive me, as this is the first time I have used this website or a scraper of any kind.
Why isn't there a unique identifier field? MAME used unique ids for games, as well as steam. This makes it hard to search on the website for specific games. Scrapers will not yield a perfect match.
I took a snapshot and uploaded for The King of Fighters XIII: Steam Edition. Double Dragon: Neon has an uploaded screenshot that IS NOT a screenshot. How is this handled? I can not remove a photo. How is moderation handled? Is there any approval of content?
