API Request

Hello Guys,
im helping out somebody with his homework assignement in which he has to create a website (it's not going to be publicly available) however he likes.
His plan was to make a kind of Games Forum / Database Hybrid so we would like to access the API to grab some game specific information which would be saved in a DB of our own.
