API Key request

Post by TheSteveK »

Hi, I'm working on a WordPress plugin-based game list manager. I'm adding a new feature that will display an individual game's details and want to include a marquee and screenshot on the popup card.

I am using internal JSON files for most of the data to keep things speedy, but I would like to use you for the images. Since I only plan on them showing when a user requests games details, the number of requests should be very low.

I'm not 100% sure if I actually need an API key if I'm just pulling images, I may just need the info required to build the URL.

Anyway, if you want to see the current version of the app, you can find it over at https://tropicade.org/rom-manager

This is an open source project, so you can view the files on GitHub as well: https://github.com/Stothe/tropicade-2

This is all still a work in progress, so it lacks some polish yet :)
