Hi everyone! I’ve been using GAMEYE a lot lately to work on my collection. I picked up a ton of games with all the holiday sales - most being used games. As I catalog the games and check them, I am occasionally finding issues that I was not aware of when purchasing. Here are two examples:
- Borderlands Collection (Switch) - only includes the first game. Games 2 & 3 are DLC with a single use code. This means that it is rather pointless to buy it used.
- Nier Game of the Yorha (PS4) - the disc is the exact same as the original game. The GotY goodies are DLC code(s)
I am sure there are soooo many other situations. While researching for this feature, I also came across many other individuals that are concerned about another aspect: future-proofing their physical games by prioritizing games/versions that include everything on cart/disc (complete) without requiring a download to work. I think this feature request could also incorporate that somehow.
So….
Could a property be added for games that would indicate if it:
- includes single use DLC (maybe red text or something warning users from used games)
- is complete on media (cart/disc)
- requires a download to be complete
Maybe something like this already exists out there. The best I could find right now is this list (to get things started), but it isn’t very console inclusive:

Thanks for reading and I hope the developers like the idea!
